Experimental Physics II (Second Semester)

Themes
14 independent experiments are available.
Students choose 5 themes out of 14.
One theme needs 2 weeks (4 days) to finish.
Therefore each student will spend 10 weeks doing 5 themes.
In the case of the 'Hall effect/Quantum Hall effect' theme, the 'Quantum Hall effect' theme is offered only once every five rotations.
Bulletins
Information concerning the undergraduate laboratory will be posted on the physics department notice board in the Main Building.
For experiments held at the South-5 building, notices will be posted on the undergraduate laboratory notice board on the 2nd floor of the South-5 building.
Rooms
Labs are available from 1:20pm.
Reports
The deadline is stringent. Students must hand in their reports to the specified place by 12:30pm on the specified day.
Discussion
It will be held during the experiments.
Grades
The grades are calculated based on 1) participation 2) discussion 3) reports.
