FGIP:Foreign Graduate Student Invitation Proguram

Department of Physics, Tokyo Institute of Technology, has 'Foreign Graduate Student Invitation Program' since 2005. We invite doctor course students (PhD candidates) to come to Japan and stay at our University for collaborative research with our doctor course students for minimum 2 weeks, maximum 1 month. The purpose is to enhance international communications among graduate students. A professor of Tokyo Tech becomes your host professor and a doctor course student at Tokyo Tech becomes your host student. This program is for doctor course students(PhD candidates) only. It means that applicants must be expected to obtain the degree of doctor(PhD) within 3 years from now. The flight fare and daily allowance are provided by our Department.
