Advanced Exercises in Physics Presentation I, II, III (doctor course)
This course sends the students to the international conference or workshop held in Japan or overseas, and have them give a presentation and discuss over their works in English or in other non-native languages. The aim of this course is to train the students on their presentation skills and discussion skills which are needed to become a researcher of the front-line. The participant students make a plan for the presentation/discussion, and hold a rehearsal with the academic supervisor. During the conference/workshop, the students should focus not only on their own presentations, but also on the debates with other participants. After the meeting, the students are expected to prepare the report on the outcome from the meeting, especially on the contents of the presentation and the discussions.
